How to request deletion of your data.

This page explains what data we collect via Facebook, how to revoke app access, and how to request permanent deletion of your information from BrandGenius AI.

What data we collect via Facebook

  • Profile information (name, email) via Facebook Login
  • Page access tokens for publishing to your Facebook Pages
  • Facebook Page and Instagram account metadata (page names, IDs)

We do not collect friend lists, photos, or timeline data.

How to remove app access from Facebook

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings
  2. Navigate to “Apps and Websites” (or “Apps and Games”)
  3. Find “BrandGenius AI” in the list
  4. Click “Remove” to revoke access

Note: This revokes our access but does not automatically delete stored data.

How to request data deletion

  • Automated (recommended):Log in to your BrandGenius AI account, go to Settings, and use the “Delete Account” option.
  • Via Facebook:Use the data deletion option in Facebook's Apps and Websites settings — this triggers our automated deletion process.
  • Email request: Send an email to [email protected] with subject “Data Deletion Request” including your registered email address.

What happens after deletion

  • Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
  • All personal data, generated content, brand data, and integration tokens are permanently removed.
  • You will receive email confirmation when deletion is complete.
  • Anonymized aggregate analytics may be retained (non-identifiable).
